These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Paralegal Patriot, LLC website (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
ATTORNEY CLIENTS ONLY
This Site is intended only for licensed attorneys, law firms, and authorized staff acting at the direction and under the supervision of a licensed attorney. The Site is not intended for use by members of the general public.
1) NO LEGAL ADVICE; NOT A LAW FIRM
Paralegal Patriot, LLC is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal strategy, legal opinions, or legal representation. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice.
2) NO ATTORNEY–CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
Using this Site, contacting us, or submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney–client relationship. Any engagement for services must be confirmed in writing between Paralegal Patriot and a licensed attorney or law firm.
3) ATTORNEY SUPERVISION AND RESPONSIBILITY
All work is performed only at the direction and under the supervision of a licensed attorney. The supervising attorney is responsible for:
• determining what tasks are appropriate to assign,
• reviewing and approving all work product, and
• ensuring compliance with the applicable rules of professional responsibility, court rules, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
4) CONFIDENTIALITY AND WEBSITE COMMUNICATIONS
Do not submit confidential, privileged, or highly sensitive information through general web forms unless we have expressly instructed you to do so and have agreed on a secure transfer method.
Email and web forms may not be secure against interception. We are not responsible for information you choose to transmit through unsecured channels.
5) PERMITTED USE; ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems,
• introduce malware, bots, or scraping tools,
• interfere with Site operation or security,
• use the Site to transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
6) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Site content (text, graphics, logos, and design elements) is owned by Paralegal Patriot, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission, except for normal viewing and printing for internal business reference.
7) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Site may reference or link to third-party services (for example, scheduling links, invoicing services, or external resources). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
8) INVOICING AND PAYMENTS
We do not accept payments directly through the Site. If we engage with you, billing is handled by invoice. Invoicing and any payment processing may occur through Zoho (or another invoicing processor we designate). Any payments made through a third-party processor are subject to that processor’s terms and privacy practices.
9) DISCLAIMERS
THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARALEGAL PATRIOT, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
11) INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paralegal Patriot, LLC from and against claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
12) JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC USE; REMOTE SUPPORT
Paralegal Patriot, LLC is based in Northern Nevada and may provide remote contract support to attorneys in other jurisdictions where permitted, provided the work is performed under the supervision of an attorney licensed in the relevant jurisdiction. You are responsible for confirming that your use of contract legal support complies with the laws and professional rules applicable to your matter and jurisdiction.
13) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version on this page and updating the Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
